A little self timer

We don’t get many pictures of our family all together and when we do you can always count on someone crying! That’s life with 3 little boys five years old and younger! We set up the self timer and snapped away!

I lost it…literally!!

photo (1)

Five months after my third baby last year I looked in the mirror and wasn’t happy with myself. The weight was just not coming off. I decided to start working out and while I felt better about myself the pounds were not coming off. I decided to start making healthier food choices and slowly but surely I noticed a difference on the scale. I’m not a product pusher, but I am super passionate about this product. I drink a body by vi shake EVERY.SINGLE.MORNING {so does my husband} and to date I have lost THIRTY ONE pounds!!! I was so bad about making time for myself to eat a healthy breakfast in the morning. With this meal replacement shake I just throw it it my blender and add in bananas or spinach or their flavor packets and go. I drink it on the way to drop off my boys at school or on the way to the gym. It’s a vanilla sweet cream flavor so it takes on any flavor you want. I am seriously addicted to these shakes. I’m about to take their 90 challenge and see where I can take my body. I would love it if you did it with me!! If you are interested please follow my link or message me. I have samples if you are like me and wanted to try it out before you buy. I am NO pressure to buy. I have tried other products and in my opinion this one is amazing and priced just right!! A 30 day supply starts at $49 which breaks down to each shake around $1.50!! Please ask if you have any questions!!! http://kajohnson24.myvi.net  let me know if you have any questions!!

coco and cookies with Santa

Our friends, the Whiteheads have an amazing Santa party every year complete with a real deal Santa!! Cole was so excited to go see Santa at his friend Landry’s house. Santa lets each child sit in his lap and tell him what they want for Christmas and then at the end each child receives a wrapped gift {the the parents provided}. He explains the reason for the season and then makes his exit. It’s so fun for everyone! He collects gifts for children in need as his payment. My boys had the exact reaction I was expecting…sheer terror! It was awesome!

Good bye old friend

The day after Gavin’s first birthday we said good bye to our sweet pup, Riley. A few weeks ago he started having some urinary issues so I took him to the vet to be checked out. We were shocked to find out he had cancer. We had many tests ran to confirm this finding and sure enough it was true. We were devastated. Brooks and I agreed that we wouldn’t do chemo and Riley started going down hill quickly. He stopped eating and lost a lot of  weight. He also had no control over urinating which meant our house was becoming a toilet. It was heartbreaking to look in his eyes and know he wasn’t feeling well. He was such a good friend to us. Brooks and I adopted him a week before our wedding. He was only 8.5 years old and it was one tough decision to say good bye. Thankfully our good friend is a veterinarian and he was able to peacefully let our buddy go. I miss always having him under my feet or barking at anything and everything that walked past our house. The boys are thankfully too young to understand. Every once and a while Cole will ask for him and tell us he misses Riley. Our Honey girl hasn’t been too affected, but I know she misses him at night. They were ALWAYS together. It didn’t matter if we had 5 dog beds they were always in the same one laying on top of each other. She was like his mom. We captured a few pictures the night before we say good bye. So thankful for you Ri. You were the best puppy around!

up, up and away

Today we celebrated our babies FIRST birthday!! I know with every birthday I say the same thing…I can’t believe it has been another year, but really! This one flew by!! I don’t know if it’s the whole three kids thing and not having a moment to actually sit down, but it has been quite a ride. This party was to celebrate our sweet Gavin AND to celebrate the fact that we survived a crazy year with THREE kids under the age of FOUR!! WOW! This is the last first birthday I will throw so I had to do it in style. I love the movie Up and thought it would be such a fun party theme. Since we have mostly older party guests {meaning, five and under} I knew I would need a fun activity to keep the kids entertained. We hired a train to come to our house and take the kids on rides up and down the street. They LOVED it!! Gavin wasn’t a fan of having his own smash cake and cried when daddy used his hand to smash it. Too much pressure I guess with everyone watching him. We had a great day celebrating our littlest love bug!
