Holly Jolly…Christmas Eve

The entire Johnson family gathered at our house this Christmas! Including Brooks’ mom, dad, Aunt, Sister, Brother in law, neice and nephew! Whew! 10 people under MY roof! BUT we had so much fun together. Cole had a blast with his cousins. Especially his older cousin Noah who is about to turn 6. Cole just thought he was the greatest! They spent a whole week together playing hard and a few tears in there. Since Cole is in the “learning to share” phase he couldn’t quite understand why he didn’t get a toy the second he wanted it, but he sure learned quickly that if he grabbed the toy and ran they might chase him which was by far his favorite game to play!IMG_2730

We made Santa Clause cookies before nap time. They never did get decorated, but I’m sure he liked them just the same. We sorta ran out of time!IMG_2737IMG_2751IMG_2746IMG_2779  We went to an early dinner and then church service at Cole’s school and then gifts when we got home. Brooks’ family opens all of their gifts on Christmas Eve and then the big guy came while we were sleeping and left Cole lots of fun stuff!

Brooks surprised me with my very own boyMOM shirt!!IMG_2819….and his sister surprised him with 2 cases of his very favorite beer that you can’t find ANYWHERE but California!!

Cole got a very cool new bike from his Nana and Grandpa! He can’t quite reach the pedals, but he still thought it was pretty cool! His favorite part of the gifts was opening them! He didn’t care if it had his name on it or not…he was opening it!IMG_2833

After we were all done we put the kiddos to bed and rested up for Christmas Day!!!

We looked at that bike for Simon as well, but he couldn't reach the pedals yet either, so we're going to try again this summer and see if it will work for him. Cole looks cute as can be testing it out!
