Cole must have been a very good boy this year, because he got lots of fun toys. We made sure to leave cookies for Santa and some carrots for his reindeer. This is what Cole woke up to Christmas morning. I thought he would be beyond thrilled to find lots of fun new stuff to explore, but you know what he did? He cried! Daddy brought him out and there were 5 adults sitting on the couch armed with camers and flashing lights! It about put him over the edge. He started crying and wouldn’t come look at any of his toys….until I showed him his new blocks! It sorta broke the ice and then he was excited! This new lunch box isn’t for school. It’s to hold all of his fun restaurant toys! There are crayons and cars and even a magna doodle to keep him entertained at the table. He loves it and carries it everywhere!
My dad bought Cole a shake and go Ramone car! He has 3 others, but not Ramone. He instantly grabbed it and headed for the kitchen to see him goooooo! New cars underwear to get Cole in the potty training mood! So far he likes to either carry them around OR wear them on his head….silly kid! Daddy made is yummy ribs for Christmas dinner and Cole got his grub on! He cleaned 3 ribs to the bone. We made sure to take any and all clothes off him during this feeding because we knew it would be messy!
Christmas was so much fun this year watching it through Cole. He is getting older and understanding the process a little more. Next year should be the best yet! Not only will Cole be a year older and totally get it, but we will be a family of 4 and celebrating with our newest edition! So many good things to come in the year ahead…I just know it!
