Sea World

   Now that Cole is getting older we thought it would be fun to head to Sea World. Cole is such an animal lover, but only really knows farm animals. He had a great time exploring all the under water animals…and so did we!!

IMG_5300 copy{not a great picture, but the only one of all 3 of us for the entire day so I had to include it}

Our first stop was the dolphins!!! They were my FAVORITE!! We actually went twice to check them out ;) The first time there Cole wasn’t too sure about laying on his stomach so close to the pool so he just hung out in our arms along side the pool. IMG_5196IMG_5192The second time around he was very brave and got right down on the ledge and hoped for a dolphin to swim up to him. We never got to touch one, but Cole didn’t mind. He had fun just splashing the water and watching these animals swim around.IMG_5244  On our way to the sea lions and seals … IMG_5220IMG_5212IMG_5204 Cole was even brave enough to pet the alligator! He thought he was pretty neat!IMG_5229 The penguins were sure smelly! phew!! BUT that didn’t bother Cole.IMG_5237 When mommy AND daddy saw the churro stand we knew we had to stop and get one maybe two churros to eat and let Cole try his very first one! He thought it was yummy, but only wanted 2 bites. Which was fine by us…that meant more churro for US!!!IMG_5243  Cole needed a chance to stretch his legs so we headed over to Shamu’s playland and let him run around with daddy for a little bit! IMG_5269 IMG_5272IMG_5273Last on our list was SHAMU!!! Cole has a very hard time sitting still while waiting for shows so we weren’t sure how he’d do, but we were pleasantly surprised. Once the big whale made his appearance Cole was entranced. He told me that the whale was his favorite part of the day!IMG_5292 IMG_5295  We are so glad that we got to spend a little extra time with our littlest guy because pretty soon he won’t be our littlest guy.

Looks like a great day! Cole is such a cutie, glad he was so brave! Trace isn't such a huge fan of aquariums, he gets kinda freaked out!

I never realized the similarities between our kids like I did in this post-they both have the same COWLICK in the back of their hair. Maybe this is the reason we go through haircut hell! (They also both have the same RL shirt). Hee hee.
