that’s how he rolls

This is Blake’s 2nd year in mothers day out and while he loves when he’s at school, he HATES drop off!! It’s pretty ridiculous! You can hear him kick and scream all the way down the hall. It lasts about 2 minutes after I leave. His teachers told me that it’s such a dramatic transition. One minute he’s crying and the next he moves on with his day. His security blanket at school is his backpack and lunch pail. He’s gotten much better about putting it away once he calms down, but for a while he carried it with him most of the day. Here he is running the obstacle course with said items in hand. One day the teachers sent home a life size outline of him and in it was him holding his lunch pail. They also weighed him and in parenthesis it said “including back pack and lunch pail!” haha!! This kid is too much!!
